We don't actually know his name, but we came across this fella while out on the scooters. He led us up this long and shoddy dirt track to his mate's farm on top of a mountain where we were afforded splendid views of the island.

Very lucky that you guys got out alive. In SE Asia these mountain men are called "Pushin boys" for obvious reasons. The only reason why they'd leave you alone is if you are diseased. I am sorry to here that.
